GENFLO Software

The GENFLO software is a complex set of programs that deal with the hydraulic design and implementation of jet pumps for various configurations. The software was originally designed by A W Wakefield, when GENFLO was an independently owned company.

Hybrid and JPP caters for the effect of dissolved solids and fine material on pipelines in terms of its scrubbing action, lift and transport distance. Given the initial particles size distribution parameters, the software can calculate the following information to a high degree of accuracy

• Mixing tube bore
• Nozzle bore
• Delivery pipe
• Nozzle pressure
• Nozzle flow
• Fluidizing flow
  

The software has proven itself invaluable in the design of aggregate transfer systems and the effective cleaning properties associated with soil washing. Indeed the software has been used extensively to simulate the soil washing actions associated with our new cleaning system, where cavitation and its role in cleaning play a very important part.
