Construction Students Site Visit

VINCI Construction UK is a consortium member of Loughborough University, sponsoring students on the BSc Hons Commercial Management & Quantity Surveying (CMQS) course. As part of our support of the programme, two groups of first year CMQS students visited our site at the University of Derby.

Site Manager, Dave Smith and Quantity Surveyor, Eddie Moss gave the students a tour of the site followed by a presentation.

Amongst the group were two of our current sponsored students Sophie Ferguson and Steven Bowen.

Geoff Hodgson, Programme Director of the CMQS course advised us that the students thoroughly enjoyed the visit, finding it very useful, as in most cases this was their first visit to a live site.
