Employees from 20 companies across South Wales have donated more than 1100 Easter Eggs for underprivileged or seriously ill local children.
Working in conjunction with Business in the Community's Cares programme – the main UK business-led employee volunteering programme – this year’s Easter Egg Appeal is supporting the Christian Lewis Trust Children’s Cancer Charity, Home-Start St Mellons, National Children’s Home (NCH) Cymru and Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice.
John Worrall, Managing Director at Stradform a Division of VINCI Construction UK Limited – whose employees donated 45 Easter Eggs - said: “This is the first year that Stradform have supported this campaign and we are delighted that our staff have got behind it. It will help to put a smile on young children’s faces across Cardiff this Easter and show our commitment to our local community”.
This initiative is a great example of how employees can make a real difference with a simple gesture to support their local communities.
