Ivor Goodsite and Hero Bear teach local children Site Safety

VINCI Construction UK, the contractor carrying out the £17m renovation project at Tedworth House (Help for Heroes), took some time out to visit local primary and secondary schools before the school holidays start to highlight the dangers of playing on construction sites.

Help for Heroes, who appointed VINCI Construction UK, are leasing Tedworth House to provide support facilities for the wounded, sick and injured.  The recovery process teaches holistic life skills as well as activities to get the sick and wounded back out doing what they enjoy the most. Although nearly finished, the renovation work is extensive and based in beautiful surroundings in the garrison town of Tidworth.

Construction staff along with Hero Bear and Ivor Goodsite, aka Morgan Stacey,  Russell Franklin, and Jim Dudley from VINCI Construction UK, spoke at school assemblies and presented to classes of school-children to outline the importance of site safety.

Morgan Stacey, Senior Construction Manager at VINCI Construction UK said:

"The children were thrilled to have a visit from Ivor and Hero Bear and really took on board the importance of the safety messages.  The team here were keen to take some time out to go to the schools and highlight the dangers of construction sites before the school holidays started.”
