Magadalene College, Cambridge

Haymills, part of VINCI Construction UK, is nearing completion of a £2 million contract to provide student accommodation for Magdalene College, Cambridge.

Phase 2 of the Cripps Court development was topped out by Haymills MD, Julian Brandon, and Master of Magdalene College, Duncan Robinson, pictured here slotting the last roof tile into place.

Phase 1 of the development was also completed by Haymills and included a new residential courtyard, a 142-seat auditorium, dining facilities and 28 en-suite study bedrooms. The development won a Royal Institute of British Architects regional award four years ago.

Cripps Court is situated within the grounds of two Victorian villas which have been successfully integrated into the new building.
