MedEquip4Kids

A team from the Building Division - North has taken part in the BUPA Great Manchester 10k Run, raising over £2,500 towards the appeal for medical equipment to kit out the new Women and Children's Unit at North Manchester General Hospital.

The team of eight were followed by another four colleagues who took part in MedEquip4Kids' biggest challenge of the year - Mega Hike, a 50 mile trek to be completed within 24 hours. The team triumphed by being the second team to finish and raising an additional £1,500.

MedEquip4Kids' Deputy Director, Ghazala Baig, said: "We are incredibly grateful to VINCI Construction UK Limited for their support towards MedEquip4Kids and thank them for all their hard work in taking on two tough challenges and raising such an impressive amount of sponsorship."
