Soil Engineering Team Promote Collaborative Working in Scotland

Soil Engineering have amalgamated their Scottish operations for Site Investigation Services (SIS) and Ground Engineering Services (GES) at a single dedicated office at Cleland, near Glasgow. The new address is:

Soil Engineering
Unit 22, Biggar Road Industrial Estate
Cleland
Motherwell
ML1 5PB

Tel: 01506 434 300

The move will strengthen the Soil Engineering team and promote collaborative working within the business unit. Customers will benefit from a holistic and cohesive geotechnical ground investigation and ground stabilisation service.

Soil Engineering will continue its tradition of excellence in the Scottish geotechnical market sector, delivering a quality driven service via our four principal business strands:

    • Ground investigation
    • Ground engineering and grouting
    • Geotechnical and environmental advice
    • Laboratory testing

Each of these services will remain available independently on a ‘stand alone’ basis or as part of a fully integrated and seamless package. From its Cleland base, Soil Engineering offer services for the full geotechnical cycle of development from initial conception to completion encompassing:

    • Desk study reporting and conceptual site model
    • Intrusive site investigation design and implementation
    • Geotechnical and environmental appraisal
    • Remediation options appraisal and strategy
    • Ground stabilisation and grouting
    • Validation / Verification reporting

The combined site operational activities of Site Investigation Services and Ground Engineering Services in Scotland will be overseen by Steve Fleming. Gareth Dunworth will continue to manage SIS and Tristan Llewellyn GES activities.
