Taff Trail Cycle Challenge

A team made up of staff from our Cardiff office and our BBC Drama Village Project, took part in the annual Ty Hafan Taff Trail Cycle Challenge on Sunday 5th September 2010. Following weeks of glorious sunshine, it poured with rain on the day of the event, with our team finding themselves cycling in the wettest, windiest and muddiest conditions! Raising over £1,000 for Ty Hafan Hospice for children, the team of five (Emerson Hanlon-Vanstone, Nik Arnold, Phillip Abdullah, Lee James and Simon Pritchard) took just over two and a half hours to complete the 28 mile ride from Merthyr Tydfil to Cardiff Bay, where our BBC Drama Village is currently under construction.
