Technology Centre add tests to UKAS schedule

The Technology Centre has recently undergone its annual independent surveillance by a team of auditors from United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). The surveillance was very thorough and five additional items have been added to our schedule of accredited tests. These are structural/safety tests, specifically hard and soft body impact.

We operate Europe’s largest cladding and curtain walling test centre and in addition we carry out a comprehensive range of tests on all types of construction products, including for example coatings, floors, doors , windows, roofing and specialist one-offs.

Tests include weather tightness, structural, safety, seismic, acoustic.

Independent third party accreditation is critical to our business and we can confirm that UKAS were very complimentary regarding our quality system and the team’s technical competence.
