VINCI Construction UK's Air Division Has Worked Over 2.5 Million Hours Without a Reportable Accident

Our Air division delivers highly complex construction projects within live airport environments. Delivering these projects requires a great understanding of airport operations and significant engagement with stakeholders to minimise disruption and ensure that passengers and staff are unaffected by construction activities.

A key contributor to our excellent safety record is the “STEP UP” behavioural training programme, which is fully implemented across all air projects. We have "STEP UP" trained over 1000 construction personnel in the last year alone.

We also hold regular workforce engagement events, including monthly safety awards which recognise individuals and companies who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to ensuring their project is safe.

The Air division is currently working on major projects at Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.
