VINCI Construction to transform Buxton's Grade 1 listed Crescent into a luxury spa

VINCI Construction UK has been awarded the first contract by the Buxton Crescent Hotel and Thermal Spa Co Limited to create a luxurious and timeless hotel and spa to be called the Buxton Crescent Hotel and Spa.

The £2.5 million contract includes the construction of a new concrete basement, demolition of the annexe buildings attached to the main hotel and stripping out unnecessary mechanical and electrical installations, existing fixtures and fittings.

The contract also includes preliminary refurbishment work within the pump room and measures to ensure the hotel’s heritage features are maintained and protected.

Once completed, the Buxton Crescent Hotel will be fully refurbished and transformed into a five-star natural spa hotel that utilises the natural thermal springs in Buxton.
