The VINCI Innovation Awards competition takes place every two years and is one of the ways in which we recognise and showcase the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of our people, both as individuals and teams.
The UK and Ireland Regional Innovation Awards Ceremony took place last week at the Institution of Civil Engineers. This was the 9th competition covering 12 regions throughout the world, of which the UK and Ireland is one.
Out of 167 projects submitted at the beginning of the competition, 34 were shortlisted at the Regional Jury in May and, of those, 12 made it to the ceremony in London to receive cash prizes totalling £27,500.
Congratulations to the five winning entries from VINCI Construction UK. Out of the five, Improving Rail Possession Planning with 4D and Healthcare Repeatable Rooms, will go through to the final stage of the competition and the winners will be announced in December.
