VINCI Construction UK has secured the 354 Oxford Street project providing a new fašade, retail space at ground floor, and high specification fit out for 11 No. apartments to the upper floors.
The building structure was originally built by London Underground as part of the New Bond Street Underground station development and the dynamic mixed-use property is a prime asset for our client Hines, in what is a key Oxford Street location.
Within the heart of Oxford Street, this prestigious project requires specific fašade treatments to remain sympathetic to the surrounding conservation areas. The fašade treatments consist of handmade brickwork, brass framed shopfronts, anodised windows with brass facing shutters and brass cladding.
The apartments will consist of 3 no. 1-bed apartments and 6 no. 2-bed apartments on 2nd to 4th Floors. With a further 2 no. 3-bed pent house apartments to be provided on the 5th floor. Each apartment is fitted out with high specification kitchens, living, bathroom and bedroom furniture. VINCI Construction UK will complete the retail space as a shell, ready for fit out by a new shop tenant.
The project has commenced with preconstruction approval being sort from Westminster CC & TFL with the overall construction duration 51 weeks. Site works commenced at the end of October.
